This beautiful 60" traditional roll-top clawfoot tub with its beautifully detailed ball and claw feet will be the perfect choice for any new bathroom, or for your bathroom remodeling project. The Matthew measures 60" X 30" X 21¼" high. Its classic lines will fit most any style décor. The contrast of this gorgeous satiny and subtly textured exterior against the high gloss shine of the interior and rolled rim give this clawfoot tub the warm, rich look and style of the classic cast iron tubs of days gone by. If you are looking for an acrylic tub that mimics the look of the old cast iron originals you have finally found it. The acrylic interior shell paired with the fiberglass and gelcoat exterior make for a strong, durable, and elegant bathtub. Hidden between these interior and exterior layers, in the bottom, is a 10-gauage steel plate for superior strength. This bathtub has been tested to withstand up to 1100 pounds. It's a fantastic looking bathtub and it is made in America. The Matthew is available in white (shown), biscuit, or bone. You can get this clawfoot bathtub with or without faucet holes and with painted ball and claw feet to match the tub color, polished chrome, polished brass, satin nickel, or a lacquered oil rubbed bronze finish. Each foot has a threaded leveler, great for older homes when the floors are not exactly level.

Additional items you will need: Waste & Overflow (drain), faucet, and water supply-lines (unless going with a bathroom wall mounted faucet) and you may even want to add a shower enclosure.
This clawfoot bathtub will require one of our waste & overflows, either the lift and turn type, which is our most popular choice, or the traditional waste & overflow with the old fashioned rubber stopper and chain. Your clawfoot tub will also require a clawfoot tub faucet. If going with the deck-mount faucet hole option you will need a faucet with a 7" center spread and deck-mount risers and you will want to also purchase a set of straight water supply-lines either with or without the optional shut-off valves which enable you to shut the water to your faucet off at the water supply-line should you ever have to. If you have chosen the tub mount faucet option in where your faucet holes will be drilled through the wall of the bathtub just above the overflow hole, you will want a faucet with a 3-3/8" center spread and you will want to be sure it has either the straight connectors or the swivel arm connectors. For the tub wall mounted faucet you will want to select either the 90 degree single offset water supply line for a 3-3/8" center spread at the bathroom floor, or a set of 45 degree double offset water supply-lines if you prefer an 8" center spread for your hot and cold water at the bathroom floor. If you choose the freestanding faucet option, no faucet holes drilled, you will need the freestanding water supply-lines which do include the shut-off valves and wall supports and you will be able to use a faucet with either a 7" spread or a 3-3/8" spread. These are available in a 26" height or a 33" height and can be cut to length. If you have decided to use a wall mount faucet, that is a faucet mounted on your bathroom wall, you will need no water supply-lines as these will be inside your bathroom wall. We also carry the clawfoot shower enclosures if you wish to add a stand up shower to your bathtub and we also carry a variety of soap and sponge holders and a tub shelf.
