Shipping Methods and Receiving Instructions
Clawfoot and Freestanding Tub Shipping
All Clawfoot and Freestanding Tubs are boxed/crated and will ship via freight carrier, to your curbside. Your property must be accessible by a freight truck and truck must have access to the curbside in front of the home. If a freight truck will not be able to make it to your curbside please call so that we may make other arrangements. Some freight companies will allow you to meet them out at the raodside, when your property is not accessible by freight truck, where you can remove the tub from the freight truck and transfer it to your own vehicle. Unloading of the tub from freight truck is the responsibility of the buyer. Most tubs can be unloaded by 2 or 3 able bodied people. Drivers may help however they are not required, by their union, to do so. A lift-gate may be provided at an additional cost, at your request, during the purchasing process. Some tubs, when noted, have a "complimentary lift-gate" provided. Our manufacturers select the freight company. Tracking will be provided upon request. Please be sure to provide a phone number where you can be reached. The freight company will contact you no less than 24 hours in advance to arrange the delivery appointment.

Please note, for your protection and ours; when signing for the delivery of your tub, do not sign anything until you have inspected the packaging. Be sure to note any damage to the packaging on the delivery slip prior to signing your name. If the tub is very obviously damaged, (for example: the box/crate has a giant hole through it and you can clearly see the tub is damaged) please refuse the delivery and call us immediately so we can begin the process for getting the tub remade. Also, most importantly, if the driver will not allow time to inspect the contents, which they most often will not allow, please be very sure to write "contents not inspected" prior to signing your name. Please be sure to inspect the contents within 24 hours of delivery and call immediately to report any damage or missing parts. We have a very short window, usually 24 - 48 hours, to report these things to the manufacturer and freight company. We've only had freight damage to a handful of times in 14 years so it's not likely however, it is always better to be safe rather than sorry.
Faucet and Accessory shipping
All faucets, if not shipping with the bathtub, will be shipped via FedEx Groud or UPS. A signature will be required. Please let us know if you prefer an "indirect signature" requirement. Tracking will be emailed to you at your request. Please be sure to inspect your delivery upon receipt and notifiy us immediately of any damaged or missing parts.
